Munsiyari is the quaint Himalyan town on a high mountain facing the Panchachuhli Peaks. A quite laid back town of the Bhotia people, it used to serve as the autumn winter home of the people of Johar Valley. The bike ride starts from the Ramganga (east) river valley where the road is along the way. The beautiful road winds up the Kalamuni top after which there is a conifer forest till Munsiyari. Beyond Munsiyari we go down the pristine Goreganga Valley till meadows, village sites, forest fringes or the riverside. On the bike you will find some amazing landscapes and meet different interesting local people.
